In this section, you will learn how to use the "simulated lab" module provided in order to request lab tests for the borrow site material. Remember, lab tests can get costly, so choose wisely....
In this exercise, you will:
  • Learn the basics of using the "simulated lab."
  • Request the site specific material characteristics for borrow locations.

Text Version:

    1. Open your internet browser

    2. In the “Address” line type http://www.learn-civil-gis.org/shop/

    3. This opens up a request screen from which lab tests can be requested for each borrow site location

    4. Place a checkmark in the boxes next to the tests needed for your borrow sites being considered

    5. Also, fill in your Name and Email address in the text boxes

    6. Left click the “Place Order” button to have the lab tests completed and the results emailed to you

(Note: If done correctly, a “Thank You” screen should appear in your browser and 2 emails should be in your Inbox)
